The
Lake Norman Area is considered the area bordering Lake Norman
(number 13 on the map) and is part of four different counties:
Mecklenburg County to the east and south, Iredell County to
the east and north, Catawba County to the west and north,
and Lincoln County to the west and south. The towns
and cities that encompasses Lake Norman area are Charlotte,
Cornelius, Davidson, Denver, Huntersville, Sherrils Ford,
Statesville, Terrell, and Troutman. With its diverse
mixture of small towns and lake side communities, excellent
schools, and close proximity to downtown Charlotte, the Lake
Norman Area is one of Charlotte's most popular and fastest
growing suburbs and is an excellent place to live and raise
